Data deletion request
You have the right to request erasure of your personal data. This page describes the procedure for the two types of data Im.Age Commerce processes.
1. Data stored locally on your device
Your business data (clients, sales, expenses, inventory) lives in a local SQLite database. You can at any time:
- export it from Settings → Data management → Export;
- delete it by uninstalling the application and removing the
Im.Age Commercefolder from your system's application data directory.
No action is required from us for this data — we have no access to it.
2. Data stored on our servers
This concerns only:
- your WhatsApp number used for verification;
- your install tokens and device identifiers;
- aggregated telemetry events (if you have consented);
- technical logs related to your account.
To request erasure, follow the procedure below.
3. Procedure
- Email [email protected] with the subject "Data deletion request".
- Include the WhatsApp number associated with your account.
- Describe the scope of the request (entire account, telemetry only, etc.).
- To verify your identity, we will send an OTP to the indicated number. Confirm by replying with the code.
4. Processing time
Requests are processed within 30 days. A written confirmation is sent at the end of the process.
5. Data retained for legal obligation
Some data may be retained beyond your request when required by law (accounting, fraud prevention, lawful requests). Where applicable, it is isolated and accessible only for the purposes provided by law.
6. Recourse
If our response does not satisfy you, you may file a complaint with the Commission de l'Informatique et des Libertés (CIL) of Burkina Faso or any competent authority in your country of residence.
